All about me

Hey there, today i'm allowed to do a free choice. So what better to do then tell you guys some more about me. I will be following an all about me template that I found online. Let's start this

Name, Age and Birthday
My full name is Tremaine Christopher Blackwell. I am 12 years old and my 13th birthday is on 28th of January.

A few of my favorite things
Animals: My 2 most favorite animals are dogs and cats. If I had to choose one to like the most, I would choose a cat.
Hobby I love swimming and gaming all, though they are completely different I enjoy them the most.
Food My favorite would have to be nachos but I am a huge lover of Japanese.
My Favorite subjects My favorite learning subject that I have to do is maths but my other favorite subject is arts. I love art, blending and shading is my favorite thing to do.

My siblings
I have a really big family, I have many brothers and sisters. I will start with my sisters  and then move on to my brothers. I will go in ages youngest to oldest, kiarah, Araya and Lannah. My brothers, Brodie, Blake, Tyler and John

My favorite Colour
My favorite colour is blue. I like the dark shades of blue, like the shade of the ocean. It appeals to me and makes me think about good memory, like the beach and the pools

PBL Sub Sub Artefact

If you've been keeping up on my blog you might have noticed that I have made a few PBL blogs. I explained what Our PBL was for the term. But if you haven't I will share with you our PBL this term. This term for PBL our hub has been looking at the future. our question this term was, what will the future ask of us? So we had to make a physical main artefact and 2 sub artefacts. Our project had to solve a problem that might occur in the future.

My sub artefact that I will be sharing with you today is my business cards that me and my buddy Lexus were handing out at the expo. Me and Lexus made this card and based it of our cleaner bot which was our main artefact. If you haven't seen that blog you should go totally check it out. This Is our business card, let me now what you think. On the day of the expo we also had qr codes that people could scan after they all ran out.

PBL Main Artefact

Our project had to solve a problem that might occur in the future.

My main artefact this term was called the cleaner bot 900. Me and my friend Lexus, who I chose to be my buddy wanted to make a robot that would pick up litter. When we first started we wanted to make Lexus the robot but then changed our ideas because it would have been to big of a project. We had an idea about how with all of the litter it would then clean then melt into a useful item. Here is our main Artefact. Leaver your comments on what you think about this.

PBL Planning

this term during PBL we were challenged to make a main artefact and 2 sub artefacts. Me and my buddy Lexus wanted to work together to make a cleaner bot. We have now finished our project with making a website, business cards  and our robot was finished. I'm righting this after the PBL showcase and me and Lexus are proud of our product. Science experiment

This term after doing science with our home base we were then challenged to group up and do an experiment on our own. I did my experiment with Taylor and Makayla. For our experiment we were making lava lamps. here is what our experiment was based on. Here is the Scientific Method.

Reading slides

We have been reading novels over the last couple week and we were also doing some google slides activity. one of things we had to do was a google drawing of an orientation and rewrite how the orientation happened. I've been reading Hacker, by Malorie Blackaman. It's a great book and I totally recommend it. It's a simple book to understand and is one of my favorites. The way we got our books was one day the teachers set up a reading res truant in the hub and had some books we could have a little read of and then rate them out of 10. Hacker was the best book i read there and I wouldn't change any of my decisions. Here are my slides

Narrative plan

this term we've all been writing a Narrative. My Narrative is going to be about how bad climate change got in the future. I want it to be an enjoyable story that will appeal to all ages. I've finished the narrative now and I am happy with it. You can also find that on my blog.

Marriage advertisement

In R.E the last couple weeks we have been working on a sacrament advertisement. the purpose of making these was to explain the sacrament and encourage others to participate in them, So I chose marriage because I was interested in it and a lot of other people were doing it too. Here is my ad.

Volunteer week

hey there. Last week we had Volunteer week. Volunteer week was about volunteering and giving up your time to 1 out of 3 different causes. Food bank, curtain bank and graffiti removal. I was going to go to the food bank and help there but I sprained my ankle and took a couple days off. So I went to the curtain bank on Thursday. The curtain bank was not what I was expecting. It was a lot funner then I thought. We had to check the curtains, describe how the curtains are and if there are any stains or faded edges etc. I was first peeling off stickers of the bags then I moved on into a group. we were measuring folding and packing. It was a good experience and it made me feel great.

My narrative

This term we have been learning about what the future will be like. so this term we had to write a futuristic narrative. I wrote a 3 page narrative about global warming. My narrative was all about the effects it had on the world and how much it had an impact on people to change. But the earth getting wasn't the problem it was about a global flood. here have a read below.

Winter Sport

Hello, today i'm going to be talking to you about winter sports. Winter sports went from term 2 to term 3. for winter sports I played football in the C team. our team was called the seagulls. I enjoyed playing for the seagulls and if I was offered to do it again I totally would. It was a great expedience to have. I wasn't very good but I tried my hardest. we were given a choice back in term 1 of what sport we wanted to play. we had to list a 1st and second choice.  My 1st and 2nd choice were hockey and football. there was also netball and rugby which I wasn't very much interested in. did you play a sport through winter if so what sport? If you didn't what sport would you want to play?

Heart Rate

This term we have been doing a lot of science. We went to 4 different sciences experiences. Out of the four I only got to go to 3, heart rate, water cycle and bridge structure. Today I'll be sharing with you what I learnt during heart rate. During heart rate we had to do some exercise then find our pulse count how many pulses we feel during 10 seconds. we then had to multiply that number by 6 and then that's your heart rate. We learnt about how to keep your heart healthy and what your max heartbeat should be. To maintain a healthy heart you have to do plenty of exercise and eat healthy.
