Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be sharing what I have worked on in the 1st activity of the second day in the summer learning journey. I learnt about 2 very early pilots in the 1930's. One from NZ and one from America. For the activity I made a ven diagram of comparing the 2 and their accomplishments. This activity was really fun and I enjoyed the activity.
Here is my diagram
Thank you for reading my Blog. Have you ever heard of any of pilots? Comment down below
Kia ora Tremaine, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteYou have done an excellent job creating this venn diagram which compares the two aviators Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart.
I think it is really awesome how you incorporated images of both Jean and Amelia, and using the plane photo as your posts background was a fantastic idea as well!
I never knew that Jean Batten was the best known New Zealander in the 1930’s, or that Amelia Earhart broke the women’s altitude record, so thank you for sharing this new information.
Being able to break a record must have been such a great achievement to accomplish!
Have you ever broken a record before? If so, what was it for?
Did you know that Jean Batten was only 16 years old when she had her first flight! That is such a young age to have started her career which shows us just how passionate she must have been about flying.
Amelia Earhart was also quite young when she started aviation, having her first flight at the age of 23 years old.
I have always wanted to learn how to fly a plane. I think it would be amazing to be able to fly yourself anywhere in the world!
Have you ever thought about becoming a pilot?
If you could fly anywhere in the world, where would you go?
It would be great if you could edit your blog post and link in the sources where you got your photos from!
