For this activity I have to recall a time me or someone I know did something brave, So let's get into the recount!
The lost cat
Many, many years ago when me and my aunty went to visit my Nana on her farm on our first day there we were walking round the house and found a little black kitten. This kitten obviously belonged to a wild cat the roams around my Nana's farm but recently stopped visiting. To make matters worse the kitten only had 3 and half legs, one of it's legs was extremely injured it looked like it had been caught in a trap. I don't remember much but I think We took it to the vet to be taken treated. We looked after it until me and my aunty left then my Nana gave it to one of her close friends and still to this day the once injured miserable kitten is living a happy life in a family with a little puppy friend. Now you might be wondering why this is a brave story. Well me and my family ran the risk of getting infections, having the little guy melt our hearts for him might to die in his surgery. This event occurred 5 years and I felt brave for helping and doing what we did and I still do to this day. P.S Sorry for the lack of photo's the only photos I got of the kitten were put into an album.
Thank you for reading my Blog. Do you think this is a brave story or I am wrong? I'm not sure. comment what you think

ReplyDeleteThis is a very brave story for multiple reasons! The first reason, as you have pointed out, is that you could have gotten an infection from the kitten as he was wild. You never know when a wild animal may have a disease, so it was very brave of you to help him anyway.
Secondly, it can be a scary experience to see an injured animal, but you were able to put on a brave face and help him anyway!
How old were you when this incident occurred?
At the beginning of the year, my kitten was hit by a car and broke his pelvis bone. He was missing for the whole day, and when I went out looking for him at night I found him curled up in a bush in pain.
It was very scary to lose him for the day, and even scarier to find him injured. I was worried that if I tried to pick him up it would hurt him, but I was brave and did it anyway so I could take him to the vet and get him the help he needed.
We are very lucky to have veterinarians available to help us with all of the injured animals. Would you ever like to become a veterinarian? It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
