Activity 3: Scaling New Heights

For this activity I have to choose a charity organisation to read a little about and then write down and explain what I learnt.

For this activity I am going to be sharing some things about the SPCA

I love what they do and I think it's so amazing how they help animals and take care of animals that have been abused, dumped neglected. Me and my mum got our dog from the SPCA when she was just a puppy and she is living her best life with at the age of 6.

All about the SPCA:
The SPCA is an organisation people that take care of animals that have been treated wrongly. They provide animals with food, water, shelter, their chips, injections, they even play with them. They do all this with animals ranging from mice to horses. This organisation has grown so much with 42 different SPCA places around New Zealand.

When is started.
The SPCA in NZ has been around for longer then most people may think. Would you believe me if I told the NZ SPCA started in 1882. Well it was and over time the organisation will get bigger and bigger, aka meaning less people will hurt their animals or do anything horrible. Thank you for reading My blog.
Did you know about the NZ SPCA? if so comment down below

  1. Kia Ora Tremaine,

How original to include a section on why you specifically have chosen the SPCA. It’s always nice to support charitable organisations, especially when they have such an important meaning to us. What is your dog like? What’s his/her name?

The SPCA has been around for so long! They obviously do incredible work to be able to continue operating. They work with so many animals and make such a difference! It’s amazing!

Perhaps you could add some graphics to your post to enhance the reading experience. If you need help or inspiration to do this, look at these tips for making eye catching blog posts

    Happy blogging!
